It is the No. 1 portal into the businesses, the organizations, the events, the sports, the culture and people of the central Connecticut region. The Greater New Britain Chamber has been the business voice for the region for 100 years and during that century; we have grown, adapted, evolved and continually met the needs of our members.
Today we are bigger and stronger than ever with more than 500 members and an important new affiliation with the former Berlin Chamber of Commerce. The Greater New Britain Chamber of Commerce is a seamless partnership of New Britain Chamber members, former Berlin Chamber members and many members from throughout the surrounding towns.
Our attendance at events is at an all time high and member participation is extraordinary. The reason is simple. Our members know that they will get a return on their membership investment.
In today’s economy, Chamber of Commerce membership can be more valuable than it has ever been. Our members enjoy frequent and significant networking opportunities. They enjoy money-saving, effective marketing tools. They can benefit from the contacts and introductions that come with being part of the Chamber. Every time someone looks for a restaurant, an auto dealer, a bank, a plumber or a printer, they search the Greater New Britain Chamber website. There, they will find businesses by category, by sector and alphabetically. Every member has its own webpage and every member’s listing includes phone numbers and a mapping and direction service. It can also include everything from menus to photographs to business offerings.

Our Facebook page is bustling with news, activities and offers, our blog keeps the community informed about what’s happening in local business and our electronic newsletter is a colorful, interactive tool for members’ businesses.
