Directions to the New Britain Chamber of
Commerce
FROM HARTFORD AND POINTS EAST
Route 84 West to Exit
39A, Route 9 South. Follow Route 9 South to the Chestnut Street
exit, which is a left hand exit. At the end of the exit, take a
right onto Chestnut Street. Go straight through two traffic lights.
At the third traffic light, continue straight, crossing over Main
Street, onto Walnut Street. *At the top of Walnut Street, you can
only go right; then take your first right onto Court Street, which
is a one way street. The Chamber offices are located in the last
building on the street on the left. There is on-street parking. Look
for the Maguire Group Architects sign and enter the elevator lobby
there. We are on the fourth floor.
FROM WATERBURY AND POINTS WEST
Route 84 East to Exit
35, Route 72, New Britain. Follow Route 72 to the Main Street exit,
which is Exit 9. At the end of the exit, take a right onto the Harry
Truman Overpass. At the traffic light, take a right onto Chestnut
Street. At the next traffic light, continue straight, crossing over
Main Street, onto Walnut Street. *Follow from above.
FROM ROUTE 91
Follow Route 9 North to Exit 26, Columbus
Boulevard/Downtown exit. At the end of the exit, continue straight,
moving into the left lane. The Post Office building will be on your
left at this traffic intersection. Take a left onto Chestnut Street.
Go straight through two traffic lights. At the third traffic light,
continue straight, crossing over Main Street, onto Walnut Street.
